Details: T-Town MMA /Checkmat Tacoma is Tacoma’s longest standing school for MMA, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), and Kickboxing. Our core mission has always been to help changes lives for the better, both inside and outside of our school. We are a family owned dojo, and when you come to see us we treat you like family. When it comes to training Mixed Martial Arts we understand that most people share one of two goals: Get in Better Shape, Become a Competitor. Our program(s) are designed to help you achieve either one or both of those goals. We are deeply rooted in Mixed Martial Arts with our structure teaching both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing as separate classes. Not only will you learn the attributes of MMA, but you will also experience changes in your life both mentally and physically.

Kids Program Detail: Our Kids Martial Arts classes are based on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a high emphasis on fitness. We’re Tacoma’s premiere school for childhood development both on and off the mats. Our Kids Martial Arts classes are open to kids between the ages of 6 to 13 years.
