Details: Founded in 2017 by Black Belt Thiago Rodrigues, Torse House Checkmat El Segundo is a Jiu Jitsu gym that offers instruction to students of all skill levels and ages including kids. Torse, referring to the power the body is able to create, is a key element of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that every student learns to unleash through training. Jiu Jitsu is a martial art that teaches practitioners to defend themselves against their opponents of any size using a combination of technique, leverage, and fitness. Professor Thiago Rodrigues's goal is to teach Jiu Jitsu in a challenging, fun, and safe environment where students can share in his passion for the sport.
